My Week With Marilyn

My Week with Marilyn is movie based on true story about Marilyn Manroe, icon of not just movie and not just in late times and Colin Clark director and writer but in this story he is starting as 3rd Director assistent.

This movies has got many pluses, what makes it really briliant are casted stars
|Michelle Williams|Kenneth Branagh| Eddie Redmayne|Judi Dench|Emma Watson|Zoë Wanamaker|
And Marilyn Theme by one and only |Alexandre Desplat|.

I for one am fan of elegant, long and clean shots, I am giving huge plus to that along technical works such as cut, movie score (amazing singing of Miss Williams) and very nicely done costumes. I liked that very much .

Now the storyline, thats where I was slightly dissapointed, it was nice story, sure, it was calm story, deffinitely. It somehow missed something.
Marilyn is in London, for first time, to shoot movie Prince and The Showgirl with Sir Laurence Oliviere, Marilyn somehow can't put with role until she falls into more connection with young Colin Clark. It has many touches in, such as bolsevik jokes along with some british charm or look at how movies were made back then.
Watching movie, you wish to know more from goddess life, that simply wont happen. Movie is very much based on Marilyn's emotions.

I wont say movie is bad, because simply that is not true I will say the movie is great to me. Yet the masses might find it bit boring and dissapointing, to their defence it does say WEEK with Marilyn not Lifetime.

Anyway. Acting. I was stunned by Mr. Branagh. Not suprised. Simply stunned once more, his potrayal of Sir Oliviere was simply amazing! (You gotta love him). Michelle Williams made me forget its her ans thinking more of her as Marilyn when movie was in half, she was very good, and to play Monroe must be truly complex therefore I am letting her go :) Eddie, Emma, Zoe were of course very good, who was amazing though was Dame Judi Dench! As expected non ?
And who gave movie most joyful and british touch ? Why Toby Jones, who else!

TRUE STORY. indeed.
This movie was based on two books by Colin Clark, who is this mostly about, Colin's part may be even more important then Marilyn's it literaly creates rather romantic and dreamy story.
Also because Collin was at that time writing diary which was later published this movie could be created.

0.2 Revolution Sculpture from keys |Brno, some park near Česká|
Meaning goes back to 1989 when people went like 'ding' with keys after during Velver Revolution. Czechoslovakia found out what word Freedom means again.

This is thing in park for kids, when you see thing you go wow whats this ? Well that thing, so its you know...thing

Well.. we are on thing again, really amazing though.




0.5 Destroyed Music |Prague, National Gallery
Forever my fav. piece there, it was made by Milan Knížák in 1940. Love it.



0.6 Komtur |Prague, Near Stavovské Theatre
Komtur is character from Mozart's opera Don Giovanni, it also looks bits like dementor, character from Potter's stories. Nontheless, its still amazing piece of work.



0.7 Birds |Prague, Museum of Toys|
So, anyone like Hitchcock? I do. This is barbie from Museum of toys, this one is on Prague Castle. Really dashing. I am no fan of barbie vehicle but I'd buy this one.


0.8 Kafka's moving genitals |Prague, Kafka Museum|
Near Kafka museum, theres this ..complex, Restaurant, museum and souvenir shop and there's this fountain and Kafka's sculpture, which is stable, not same can be said about his crotch though, its moving and pissing ... nice aye ? I bet Kafka would like it!



0.9 Semaphore |Prague, Malostranska|
This is entrance to one of Pragues restaurants, ofcourse for its littleness its not the only one, anyway this semaphore tells you if restaurant is open or close. Wicked non ?




Right so, let's stop here and call this part 1. I had
lots of these things but if I'd put them all I'll go bald before doing so.

Bring it on ... February

February will be my personal movie marathon! So many movies coming to cinemas! Its one thing I hate and love on czech distributor even though I had to wait for all of this movie longer then needed not I have all of them in one month, two of them even have premiere in one bloody day! Can't wait!

Machine is takin' over me!

I mean it - in many ways! For first I am pretty sure Im turning into one since i am having 3 jobs at the moment, but its fun, as long as I am exhausting myself I have no time to doubt myself and shits like that.
Honnestly when I am not working I start to think about universe and stuffs like that and I start to go loco. Also with 3 jobs together i am still having shit of money (haha)

Another machine is movie-like. Its few days but I went to cinema see Real Steal! And people I liked that and WB better watch it because i want these robot-bet-thingys in 2020! |date is creepy btw|
Real Steel is movie about robotic fighters replacing people in boxing rings. Main role Hugh Jackman! In cinemas now.


High point of machine is Florence! Because its not that long they released new album called
'CEREMONIALS' and people it's eargasm really. I love each song on this album and it is very rare thing to happen! Also she's really huge idol for me!

It has so different and yet same sound as Lungs. Flo's voice is really mygical and their way to create music makes me feel very good. Always I listen to their songs i feel so deep in music I dont even realize anything around me - just the sounds!
And for me - thats result i would like to reach as musician (haha -what?!) - one day.
For now - I congratulate Flo and all her machines.
Florence + The Machine are band from UK which started their career in 2007. Debut Lungs totaly took me and you should all buy it! Florence also sang on Grammys or their song - Heavy In Your Arms was also used on one of Twilight OST's








Also breaking new from Méry - I am working in Bontonland and i adore it. People asking me about music me giving them advices! Its fun - whole day around music love it :)
